TEAC P-55C Printer for DVD/CD/Blu-Ray Discs

TEAC P-55C Printer for CDs, DVDs or BLU-RAY Discs

TEAC’s P-55C is the world's only Dye-Sublimation Thermal disc printer that provides the highest image resolution, highest quality, and fastest print speeds for printing on CDs, DVDs, or Blu-Ray Discs.

The P-55C printer uses Dye–Sublimation, Thermal Re-transfer Technology. The printing of a disc is accomplished by transferring the ink from the ribbon onto the film inside the printer. Then the film is transferred onto a disc using heat and pressure. This creates a professional permanent image on a
CD, DVD, or Blu-Ray Disc.

It is available with 220 Disc or 550 Disc Autoloaders, Teac’s “AL220S” 220 disc loader or Teac’s “AL-550S” 550-disc loader.

Print up to 68 discs an hour with one printer. Up to 8 Auto printers can be operated from one PC.

Another option is
Teac’s Discathlon 2 AP-55 Automated Dual Printer Disc Printing System. Designed to install up to (2) Teac P-55C printers, which automatically prints up to 300 Discs with a mix of CD or DVD, discs on a network.

The P-55C printer can use any one of 4 different special ribbons to make it a truly flexible printer:

Photo Ribbon, Dye-Sublimation, photo realistic full color printing, up to 290 lpi higher resolution, higher than offset printing.

Versamax Ribbon (CMY color printing) provides great flexibility in disc choices and costs less. All the ribbons print a minimum of 500 discs before being used up. Works with some shiny Silver DVDs, which are flat and looks great!

CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black) Ribbon. Includes true black printing.

Black ribbon features 256 shades of gray and can print true photo images in grayscale.

The P-55C printer is available in a wide variety of DVD/CD or Blu-Ray Disc Publishers (DVD/CD Duplicator & Printer combined in one automated system). This includes Teac’s 220 Disc 2 DVD/CD or Blu-Ray Recorders & P55 Thermal Printer (“AP220N”).

If you have larger production needs, consider the
Zeus 4 or 7 (420 or 600 disc autoloaders) they are standalone and do not need a PC to operate. They come with either 4 or 7 DVD/CD recorders as standard and have Blu-Ray recorders as an option. Networking software is also an option.
